Is it possible to tell if a ModBus Node is correctly connected without performing a modbus request?
Let me explain: every 15 min I perform modbus requests to read and record X registers.
If by chance the network drops for any reason, no modbus node warns me that the connection has dropped, but rather the node stays connected until a request is made and only then does it realize it is disconnected.
I would like the node to check its status constantly to be ready every 15 min and not lose the data to be acquired.
