Node-red-contrib-config broken in Node-RED beta 1.0.0?

Has anyone else noticed that 'node-red-contrib-config' seems to be broken in v1.0.0 betas of Node-RED?

Maybe raise an issue for @DeanC in the node's repo?

Thanks for the suggestion @Paul-Reed... I raised the issue there.

Do others use this config node much or are there other, better ways to achieve what this config node provides?

For me it lost its powers since presistable context introduced.
Set some variable in global or flow context is pure basic with change node.
