Released my first module a couple of days ago which implements discord 12.5.3 in node-RED. The module supports receiving messages, getting roles, and sending strings using seperate nodes. The node that sends messages is named 'sendSimpleMessage'. Yesterday i decided to implement yet another node(sendAdvancedMessage) which does the same as sendSimpleMessage, but also supports sending embeds(objects). Did i make a mistake here? Should i have kept everything that sends message in one node instead of seperating the functionalities?
