That does sound like a hardware problem, maybe on that particular pin.
I agree. The relay that is providing the dry contact must be horribly bouncy, as the input needs a 2 second debounce to start reading its state reliably. And thatās with a transistor-driven opto-isolator with an RC filter on the input.
Anyway, thank you for all your help on this issue, and the daemon driven input/output system seems to be working well.
