Nodered as a BACnet client - Object count capacity

Greetings,

I am currently working to Deploy Node-red as a BACnet client.

I understand that to do this i would need to install node-red-contrib-bacnet.

I am working on a project that estimates 15-20k data points from their BACnet Server.

Would I be possible to deploy just one unit of device with node-red + BACnet client to handle that much data points? If so, what are the drawbacks I should be aware of, besides the longer processing time?

My initial guess is needing to have two units of device with NR + BACnet client to handle part of the data points. However, as the data points are within the same BMS system, is it really possible to have two devices with NR+BACnet client simultaneously reading different groups of data from the BACnet server?
