Nored Dashboard page customized background color

Dear Node-red Experts,

Is it possible to change the Dashboard page color ? let say I want to make a background color to be linear? It is like overriding the theme via UI template and apply some basic CSS to change the color. Will it be possible? If so.. Can I get some examples on how? Thank you very much.

Linear gauge as another gauge option

As promised, a little example how to achieve it using default set nodes ("node_red_dashboard" is needed). Feel free to use and modify it by your needs. The colors I used look fine on medium gray background. I separated configuring part from data preparing part into different functions just for clarity of example.
