I am trying create a simple button / switch on a dashboard to stop a flow. I have put on a dashboard a button to manually input data and control a device. Said device is also controlled by an incoming flow. I want to be able to switch the incoming flow off and go into manual mode or switch it on for automatic, any help please?
Possibly you could use a node-red-contrib-simple-gate to stop the flow from driving the device by blocking the messages down that path. If you want a dashboard switch to switch between manual/automatic then feed the output of the switch to the gate node to block/allow the traffic. You could also use that switch to enable/disable the dashboard widgets controlling it when in manual so you can't use that method when it is in auto mode.
