Quicker way to open another node's edit tray while editing a node

Currently the quickest way to change settings of multiple nodes seems to be:

  1. Edit a node.
  2. Click somewhere in the greyed out editor to save/confirm settings.
  3. Double click on next node to edit.

I think it would be useful to have a quicker way to go from node settings to node settings, e.g. by alt+clicking on another node when the current node's edit tray is open.
