Resilience in Node-RED Deployments

Hey all!

A month ago, I was hit by a (proverbial) bus - I was deploying a Node-RED/FlowFuse stack of blended remote and hosted instances for Hannover Messe, and when the German transit strikes hit, I was basically stuck in Japan with a very expensive demo and no way to deploy it.

Thing is - because the whole thing was built on top of all the things that make Node-RED so powerful (the flow deployment model, open source nodes, portable flows, etc.), we were able to get the demo going in 24 hours. I ran the data stack from Japan while the local stack was run in Germany - and it all worked really well.

I'm putting on a webinar this coming Thursday, and I think it's not just a fantastic story - it's a real eye-opener for how Node-RED and FlowFuse make systems more resilient and reliable.

I'd love to share the story with you - if you're interested, check out this link and register: Applying The Bus Factor - How FlowFuse Deployed Stack Resilience in Real Life • FlowFuse. I'll be dropping the video here as well after we put on the webinar - because there's a LOT of good learnings to take away from it!
