@dceejay if anything is going into 4.1.3, it'll be the spot fix for the file nodes
Personally, I would add the general width directive without !important now, it would only impact nodes that don't have manual width styles. Tidy up the core nodes as part of an engagement drive.
Nope, only the core nodes! Everything else is the responsibility of the authors to fix - or other people to provide direct fixes for.
That is what I'm suggesting. But rather than waiting until core dev's get the larger piece to the top of their lists, get a community engagement going to help more people learn how to contribute and gain some confidence. The bar to submitting changes to core is quite high so if you want more engagement, this might be a great opportunity since the work can be easily ring-fenced.
Btw how does this work with the re-styling for the v5?
As it stands, there is no restyling planned of the edit dialog contents for 5.0.
PR - changed to just be file nodes for now...will continue to work on wider impacts when I have an idle moment.
