Its for debugging - it allows to to re-send any message when you want.

The MQTT node will re-send a retained message but only when you re-deploy the node.

If you use this resend function node, you cam re-send the message any time you want

And it can be used to resend any message anywhere in a flow

Oh yes, I get that all the time as well. :slight_smile: Especially annoying when I do a wider Internet search and find an article that I wrote on the matter that I'd forgotten about.
