Was reading this paragraph:

It said:
A node definition can include two functions to customize the edit behavior.
The text then goes on to show five functions and not two. Is this intended? Should the prefix line not say
A node definition can include five functions to customize the edit behavior.
Indeed. Two is not five. Safe to assume the list of available functions is correct and the preamble was overlooked when they got added.
