i had an sqlite db also with some data from an energy meter and was trying to test how they were presented with ui_chart .. while you guys were doing your advanced sql, which is beyond my understanding

with your data (1000 values) and a Group with width 16

it doesnt look bad

yes .. i left the Chart Size to auto as you can see from the previous image and edited its Group size to 16 to be wide enough so the points are not so squashed, that could be an additional reason for being a bit jitter
