I use Firefox on windows 11 editing the latest version of node red, don't remember version but I updated a couple of days ago
It looks like @gerry has discovered a bug. At a guess, the initial node is used to set up the large editor.
Under the hood, the larger editor is actually a completely new editor instantiated when you hit the expander button.
I wonder, does this happen on the core template node when you switch mode? This will determine if it's a dashboard or core bug
