Where to store plain-text credentials in a container volume when `credentialSecret` is set for multiple node-RED instances?

Based on previous discussions regarding credentialSecret and flows_cred.json for multiple instances (See 1). I there are way to store the credentials of dedicated brokers, databases for node before spinning a container up? If so where should these plain-text credentials be placed so that the crendentialSecret then encrypts them on container start and normal execution.

  1. Is a flows_cred.json created on one node-RED instance valid for a different node-RED instance too?
