Xiaomi gateway light sensor

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is any way to read light sensor information from the Xiaomi gateway. I can see in the app that it's possible to create scenes using the gateway "is dark" status but I'm not sure how to get this information into Node Red. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you looked on flows.nodered.org to see if someone has written a node for the gateway?

Check in the home-assistant forums - they use this extensively and have (i believe) hacked firmware to send out through MQTT

Thanks for the feedback. I've managed to get what I need by creating an automation to send notifications to my phone when it's dark. This appears to have done the trick.
