Zwave help with Shelly

Hello
I have a Shelly uk plug(zwave)

Shelly Europe Ltd. | QNPL-001X12 | v11.2.0

I have a integration with a Yamaha amp that I power on using the above device and the send a On infrared code.
Unfortunately do to the age of the Amp it sometimes powers up at startup but powers down almost instantly. (Power supply)
Am i right in assuming i can monitor the wattage via the shelly and send the On signal twice.

I use the wave JS

Hi Andrew,

I believe so yes...
According to this device, it supports power meter.

I think you need to react to Meter CC changes (Wattage I believe) -I don't have any device that supports Meter CC, so could be wrong.

It might also be worth changing these settings for it in the Sidebar UI (In The Configuration CC section)

  • Power Change Report Threshold
  • Minimum Time Between Power Reports

If using V11 of the Node.

  • Add a Splitter Node to your flow (attach the source Zwave Device to its input)
  • Then in the UI (sidebar) click the Wattage property (Meter CC) - and it will give you the ability to instantly add it to the Splitter Node - the Splitter Node will then only pass through changes for that property as they are sent from the Device.

You can add further CC Properties to the Splitter Node, each one will be given it's own output pin

The DB Browser is the official Database of "supported" (known) devices that have configuration files for Zwave JS.

Its the other project I maintain for the ZWave JS eco system,

ZWave Devices that aren't in the DB will still work (as ZWave is ZWave) - just the experience is dampened for unknown devices (mainly in the UI).
