Hi. Is there a way to turn off the scrren in Alexa Echo Show? It turns off only with voice command...Can I emulate it?
Have a look at the node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2. IIf it's possible that node should be able to do it.
I use node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2 ... but I don't see the possibility, but maybe I don't.
I don't have a show , so can you set a routine to turn off screen, if so you can then run that routine.
Unfortunately, I can't turn off the screen from routine.
In Alexa Routines, Custom Actions was recently added (I don't know how recently). Just type in the command you would say. It's at the bottom.
I have looked in alexa-remote2 but can't find that option to skip creating the routine but you should be able to trigger Alexa Routine from alexa-remote2. I use Custom Action to open a Hubitat Dashboard in Firefox.
