I would like to create an automation which opens my garage doors 12" when a certain temperature sensor reads a certain temperature. I am able to press the physical button and press it again after 4 seconds to halt opening at the desired height.
However, I cannot determine a way to send a "stop" signal to the garage doors, only "open" and "close" commands. When I view my garage door in the myQ app, it says "stopped" instead of "opened" or "closed" on the primary garage door (which is a smart garage door opener), but my third bay is an older garage door opener with the smart add-on. perhaps the third bay won't be possible without installing a relay onto the button leads
