Cannot authenticate to Github

I just started using projects because I want to use Github.

When I enter my username and password, the dialog box keeps asking me to retry. I know I am entering the right username and password. Why isn't node-red accepting them? What am I missing? Thank you.

Using your regular password for github authentication will no longer work as of this past august 13th. You can generate a personal access token and use that in place of your password.
