How can I center the gauges horizontaly in dashboard 2?
Total width is 4 and the gauges are 3x3
No way. Make another decision about total width and element size. The size units can't be arbitrarily devided.

Maybe set the group width to 5, and insert a transparent object of 1x1 as a spacer?
If you're total width is 4, then set the gauge size to 4 wide, and it'll centre to the rest of your content? Currently, it's centred, but only to 75% (3 out of 4) of the columns, hence it's shifted to the left.

It'll still be constrained by it's height, so keep the height of 3, and change the width of 4, and it'll stay the same size, but render centrally across the 4 columns
yes, it works with hight 3. But the gauge is still 4 wide.
It is ok for me, but still a bit oversized.
