Convert anolog input to string

Hi All.
I have anolog input signal from analogue input pin for an Intel Galileo or Edison board. I am reading this on a gauge which is correct but i want to convert the numeric reading to send to the csv node.

Just wondering can anyone help.

function node...

msg.payload = "" + msg.payload;
return msg;
