Error badges in editor explorer

When a flow contains invalid nodes, the red triangle is displayed in the flow explorer against the flow but not against any groups which may contain errors:

You can see that flow KSP v1.12.x has errors but you can't see which group they are in without expanding each group:

Is it possible to elevate the error badge so that it shows against a group which contains invalid nodes?

In this example, everything is undeployed so there are blue dots everywhere.
As with the red triangle, it would be nice if the blue dot for a modified node would also float up to the containing group.
I am not sure that the same should apply to the "Has documentation" badge.
The linter creates badges too. I have no idea if they show in the flow explorer.

Yep, I don't know how, but it slipped my mind.

No need this.

No. But that’s an interesting question - should adding third party badge be permitted?

The linter I use has its own tab down right corner, next to debug, context etc. Think it was this one: node-red/nrlint: Node-RED Flow Linter

Plugins can certainly add their own node annotations - as nrlint does. Whether they should propagate to the flow tab and explorer is another matter. The node body has space for multiple badges, but the space in the flow tab and explorer is limited and we risk it just looking bad with too much crammed in. Will need thinking about before jumping into implementing anything.

Ok but I don't right now suggest any badges that are not already shown, just showing them on more lines of the output.

I don't know how simple it would be.
Presumably both node and tab have actual error/dirty flags while groups do not.

I did mention linter badges but @ThingsTinkerer says there is already a sidebar for linter, so no need to add these.
