[Feedback Wanted] How do you use the Manage Palette

I just corrected it :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you all, as soon as I finish adding the button, I will come back here with the details of what was done.

The description is available here

PS: for this draft the progress bar is poor

If I can still ask you for a poll

A new feature provides when you import a flow, to check if you have the required modules to import this flow. See the description here.

An "Install all" button has been added to install all modules in one click.

The poll is as follows:

Do you prefer the "Install all" button triggers a notification with the progress or do you prefer the "Install all" button opens the Palette then you click the "Install all" button and see the progress in the Palette.

Watch this video on the behavior of the notification and this video on the behavior of the "Install all" button (demo made with the "Update all" button - same logic).

PS: a filter is applied to the palette (to display only the modules to install) but not visible on the second video because the PRs are separated

  • Install and see progress via a notification
  • Install and see progress via the Palette

Please watch the demo videos before choosing.

Thank you again for your help :slightly_smiling_face:

I do something similar for my docker instances.
SSH to the docker host and run docker restart node-red

I am using npm-gui although it hasnā€™t been updated for a year now.
