Feeding Variable to Static Node Fields?

I wanted to try using Node-red and BLE with an ESP32 board and went for the node-red-contrib-generic-ble module.

Unfortunately what's happening now after installing it and briefly getting a successful scan my admin ui freezes and looses connection. When running my UI with the logs in the background the following error is output:

Couldn't find a similar issue out there so I'm unclear what's unique about my set up and flows. My node-red-server is running on a Pi 4.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looks like you are not the only one.
