latest data is not available for UK (lagging 4 days compared to US).
reproduction rate below 1 which is good.
reproduction rate for the US is slowly rising and getting close to 1 so they are on a path that they will have to live for a long time with the virus
number of confirmed cases per day is still very high ( 67 per million per day for the US and 52 per million per day for the UK - FYI Italy has currently 10 conf. case per million per day)
Italy is still going very strong: Reproduction rate stable around 0.7 for quite some time and today having 7.5 confirmed cases per million per day.
Belgium has a higher reproduction rate (around 0.85) and is fluctuating considerably (I have no explanation for that) and today having around 20 confirmed cases per million per day.
Belgium claims to have a test capacity of 25,000 tests per day (that can be scaled up to 45,000) but this test capacity is clearly not used according to the charts :in the upper right corner you see that the number of tests have decreased to 0.76 per thousands (which corresponds to about 9,000 tests per day).
UK data is lacking data (no data for the last 11 days). So the charts for the UK are a bit outdated. So it doesn't make sense to draw further conclusions.
US has a reproduction close to 1 (around 0.94) and has today about 64 new confirmed cases per million per day (which is almost 10 times as high as Italy today).
Austria has again a reproduction rate well below 1 (= 0.78). Not sure why it went above 1 for some time. So currently it has about 3.2 confirmed cases per million per day.
Denmark is doing well - also a reproduction rate around 0.78. It also shows some fluctuations in the reproduction rate (not that much as Austria). With 7.6 new confirmed cases per million per day it is currently in the same situation as Italy but Denmark is testing almost twice as much (so the real number of cases is most likely lower in Denmark compared to Italy). On the other hand Italy has a slightly lower reproduction rate than Denmark.
Reproduction rate in Russia is below 1 for about a month which is good. The number of confirmed cases per million per day is 60 which is high but they are also testing a lot (2 tests per day per 1000).
India (despite the lock down) still has a reproduction rate > 1. The number of confirmed cases per million per day is 5 which is low but they are not testing that much (today 20 times less than Russia per 1000 population).
Number of new (confirmed) cases in Russia is still high (60 per million per day) and only very slowly decreasing (reproduction rate very close to 1).
reproduction rate in India is still above 1. Number of confirmed cases is rather low (= 6.7 per million per day) but it must be noted that they are testing 20 times less than Russia per million people.
