A perhaps slightly imperfect node but a demonstration of how a visual comparison of flows might work - FlowCompare node - as the readme does not work @ flows.nodered.org, the npmjs package displays the documentation.

The top box shows all changes, the image shows a visual comparison between local and remote and the detailed changes box at the bottom. More details in the readme.
