Hi!
I have Node-Red on my iHost. I want to put my context to file. For setting it I have to find the Settings.js. I have File Browser installed in Docking, but im unable to find the node red root.
Most of us here use Node Red natively, i.e not through docker or some other 3rd party means
BUT have you checked the /data
directory?
This is often used as the "Working Directory" for Node RED when under docker.
Natively, this is /home/<User>/.node-red
This is where everything is stored, for the user/identity running Node-RED (including settings.js
)
Note: I know Zero, Nada, None about docker, as like most, I use Node RED natively installed at the OS level (i.e Raspberry pi OS) not via a 3rd party implementation
Hi!
Thanks for your reply. My problem that im unable to go to iHost memory, to find the settings.js.
I have File Browser add-on installed too, but I cant see with this too.
It might be worth seeking some guidance from Sonoff.
unless others here use the iHost offering (not to say no one does here) - its difficult to understand the working environment
Thanks.
I was just hoping someone could help.

Peter
In Filebrowser can you see the data
folder?
If not try following this guide
but write data
instead of node-red-files
The path for reading and writing to the context folder, after enabling context memory, will then be /data/context/
