How to use shared code?

there are many posts sharing code
also a general info how to do that:

ahm,
but i need info how to use such a code snippet
in the node-red editor?
without that a screen-print of a node open in editor helps me more
for understanding or creating that manually.

Copy the code.
Then in flow editor press ctrl I or use menu and select import.
Paste the code in the box and press import.
In the flow editor you should see a new flow.
