Introducing: Energy Overview Widget for Dashboard 2.0

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a new widget for Dashboard 2.0 that I'd love to share: @pakerfeldt/node-red-dashboard-2-energy-overview.
It's a visualization widget that shows real-time energy flow between solar panels, inverter, home, grid, battery, and EV. The flows are animated with pulses so you can see at a glance where your energy is going - whether you're charging the battery, exporting to grid, or powering an EV.
Main features:

  • Animated pulses showing energy flow direction
  • Bidirectional flows (grid import/export, battery charge/discharge, V2H)
  • Customizable labels with values and sublabels
  • Dynamic pulse color configuration
  • Bring your own house image if you want
    I've also built a path tracer tool that lets you draw custom energy paths on your own house image if the default layout doesn't match your setup.

It's available through the Palette Manager.

That looks great, unfortunately I don't have a use for it :frowning:

I will try and test it out though.
The convention now is to use scoped names, to prevent clashes between package names, so the name of the node would be @pakerfieldt/node-red-dashboard-2-energy-overview". To do that use "name": "@pakerfeldt/node-red-dashboard-2-energy-overview" in your package.json
