As a continuation to https://discourse.nodered.org/t/lines-over-a-picture-edit-picture/32567, in node-red-contrib-image-tools is there some straightforward way to draw a diagonal line from a point x1,y1 to x2, y2?

Did you try the suggestions from that post?
What kind of issue are you having?
Set up a small test flow showing what you have done, export it and paste it into a reply.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but to my understanding the provided example only draws horizontal or vertical lines.I would like to draw lines that connect abritrary points, say from (50,50) to (100,100).

My bad. Playing with that flow I see it can draw horizontal or vertical lines but not lines at an angle.
Maybe @Steve-Mcl might have a suggestion.
