Module install issue

Hello I am new to node red. I am trying to used modbus to communicate from a wago plc to Node-red I can not install the modbus anything on the palette. I am using a windows 10 64-bit computer. Everything I see is geared to Linux fixes. I am not that good with Linux so I am struggling.

This is not a Linux thing. Your pc simply doesn't have the necessary components installed to compile something that needs compiling.

I have Visual studio 2019 installed and before that was 2017. I have programmed in the visual studio 2017 so I know it was working.

You still have to run the command. Not sure what it does under the hood (likely some node js bindings) but installing Vs is not enough.

It worked. I have been fighting with this for last 3 days.
