I'm testing it out as a replacement for my IR LED transmitter connected to a PiZero in front of my SkyQ box.
Working well so far 
nice, thanks for sharing this. i had a remote knocked up in no time.
Its going to make a whole Pi setup redundant - its like when DVDs took over from VHS
