Node-red-contrib-open-protocol full or half duplex

Hi, I have been having problems with the node-red-contrib-open-protocol dropping last tightening rundown being dropped by the tooling for type 6000 tools, Atlas is telling me the comms must be full-duplex not half-duplex, there is nowhere i can see to tell me what the comms type is, does anyone know if it is half or full-duplex comms to the tool?
