Node red just keeps spinning in terminal window

I have npm installed on my Windows 11 machine and I ran the command ```

npm install -g --unsafe-perm node-red

But it just spins in terminal. The attached image has been running for 2 hours. Any help is appreciated

Try in a command window. Open it as admin.

I tried running it in terminal in admin mode but I am getting the same result. I re-installed node-v20.18.0-x64 but stil to no avail. Anybody else have this problem in th epast?

Specifically, did you use cmd (AKA DOS, AKA not powershell) and did you launch it by using "Run as Administrator"?
