Node-Red stop to run when no SSH

Hello, I m' new on Node Red, first thank you for all your help, it helped me a lot but now I'm blocked and I don't find the soltuion on the discourse.

My node red is hosted on a Amazon Server (EC2) and linked to an Influx Data Base also in my EC2 instance.
I would like to understand why do I need to always have a command window open on Putty to collect data from my devices ? If I shutdown the SSH connexion, it's like I shutdown Node Red, which is I think 2 different things.
I have seen there is the comand forever but I think I don't have acces to the roots on my instance..

Thank you for your help,

Have you read the last bit of the docs?
