On a file reading function, needed for show historic values on a chart, when the file is very long (about process that takes hours), there is a waiting time between showing request and chart dispaying that can be up to 15 - 20 seconds. It is possible to insert a code inside the function that show the current retrieving file line in order to show an operation progress bar or simply a number? This is actual possible inserting node.warn (variable) inside reading loop. Thanks fo any reply..
node.status will display information below the function node.

Sorry. Probably I can't explain my request. With node.status I see the status below the node into editor UI. I want show something like a progress bar on the dashboard.
