Thanks yeah that is the one from the debian repo not the nodesource repo, which doesn't come with npm...). Not sure why that got installed in the first place.

Can you run sudo apt update and show us what you see?

Script should be fixed now - so default of node 18 should now work on bookworm 64bit.
