S3 compatible storage

I've searched a lot but couldn't find the right node to connect to a non-aws s3 compatible storage.

Would it be possible to give an option to specify the endpoint being able to use S3 compatible storage, and not only aws s3 ?
REST Endpoint Example: rest.server.com:8080

All aws s3 related nodes I've found are predefined for aws.

Couldnt you just fork one of the AWS nodes and change the hard coded naming to whatever you want ? or better still make it a config option ??
