Split Node & whitespace

I am trying to use white spaces (space between words in text string) has a delimiter. I tried the " \s " js Metacharacter but it doesn't work. Any help will be appreciated. Dan (NR v1.3.5, Nodejs v12.22)

Use a space, just type in one space character.

just for info The \s only works when enclosed in slashes not quotes. /\s/
