Certainly not Docker in this case. I don't get it on a local install on Windows as you saw. But do get it on WSL with a global Node-RED install and node.js v14. My Windows dev has v16. Well it seemed like it would be the simplest way to have "throwaway" Node-RED installs and the target device will be running this in Docker on a Debian machine. But fair point
