Understanding the new dashboard?

Understanding the new dashboard? So is it local or cloud based? I am of course asking about the @flowfuze/node-red-dashboard. I do not want to create anything cloud based for a simple UI for my local flows.

It is local to your node-red server. That could, of course, could be a cloud instance of node-red and that includes the FlowFuse cloud.

But basically, D2 is local to your node-red installation.

Thx, just wanted to confirm it was only local by default, i.e. the dashboard, when my NR instance is local.

Yup. I think that one or two of the contributed extensions might not be totally local, though that might have been changed, not sure as I don't use Dashboard really.

I can say that UIBUILDER is totally localised with no external dependencies. You can also locally install 3rd-party front-end libraries not only from the Internet but from anywhere that npm allows which includes custom repositories, local folders and even tar files.

Yeah... I am going to look at UIBUILDER as well. Just trying to catch up on the new UI options... since I have been away from NR for a while. Have a number of flows I want to revise and update that I have been using for years... and they are showing their age... so to speak.

Just shout out if you want any help with UIBUILDER.

@TotallyInformation... Will do! I am still playing around with 2.0 but maybe next week will look at it.
