Using msg.ui_control to set Chart node attributes

Not really. The ui_template node is part of dashboard widgets and the charting library is also part of dashboard so you just need to implement it.

Line Chart Series Labels

If I understand correctly, the series labels cannot be changed for line charts, which is making my line charts impossible to read.
