Variable type string with CIP Ethernet/IP

Hello all,

Is there any news on when it will be possible to transmit string types with the CIP ethernet/ip node?

It would save me a lot of time.

Hi @ALeman - which module is that node from? You may have to contact the author directly as it isn't something the core project maintains.

Its the node-red-contrib-cip-ethernet-ip v1.1.1 node.

Look up that node in the FLOW tab and follow the GitHub link. Then you can open an issue and pose the question to the developer.
