Sorry - not quite understanding this last post... the worldmap built in icons have nothing to do with static folders...
I was looking for a way to rotate icons on the map or select an icon out of a folder with rotated icon images.
Both options seem possible after this discussion.
Purpose was to show direction of movement.
Ah right - yes - some of the built in ones can be rotated to align with the heading or bearing - as can ones specified by images. Both are indeed possible.
