Just found it before reading you post. I'm not sure if I would have gotten this far without your help. There are a lot of variables in the complete end-to-end process before it starts working. Really appreciated your help !
That is what, I assume, everybody wants, isn't it 
After a successfull setup of the zigbee bridge I see that my sensors are not being logged in home-assistant in this mode. Lets see how to deal with that. This topic is resolved for me.
