My very first post on this forum has been flagged for review by the Akismet spam bot, can anyone suggest what I might do to expedite the release of my post?
Second, any tips on what to avoid in the future to prevent this from recurring?

Can't see it in the admin Q so I assume someone has released it.
It had been deleted by the system - not sure why. I have restored it.
It isn't clear what triggered the flagging, so hard to suggest anything concrete for you to do differently. If you see your posts being flagging unexpectedly, please do direct message me and I can have a closer look.
