Alexa node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2-applestrudel not working again

Seems to have stopped working again (at least for some of us)

Simon,

Go to .node-red and run npm install alexa-remote2 restart and it's working again for me.

I will give them a nudge on GitHub to update the dependency.

Works fine again for me ...

For some reason, running the install command didn't update the alexa-remote2 package

When I went to check - mine was still on a version 6

I decided to try removing it using npm remove alexa-remote2 and it said it uninstalled 4 packages

I then re-ran npm install alexa-remote2 and it installed 4 packages and my version is now 7.0.4

And now it works again :slight_smile:

node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2-applestrudel has been updated to include updated alexa-remote2 v7.0.4

It can sometimes take a while for the updated version (5.0.50) to appear in the palette but it is on its way :slight_smile:
[edit] I have it and seems to work
