We've made some big changes in the way that you can do client/user-specific Dashboards, based on feedback we'd seen in this forum, and traffic on GitHub issues, we've made changes to Dashboard 2.0.
Wanted to share the article here to make sure as many people are aware as possible, as I know this was a very requested change/feature.
From now (and as alluded to in some posts here already) socketId
is available to all users of Dashboard 2.0, and can be used to constrain communication to a single client/user for all widget types (configurable).
We've also made the FlowFuse User Addon available to all users of FlowFuse, and @fullmetal-fred has generated the first community auth plugin for Cloudfare (all detailed in the article).
Thanks again to everyone here for the feedback as we're making progress with Dashboard 2.0. We listen to, and read, it all.
Dashboard 2.0 Workshop
If you'd like to see some of these new features in action, I'll be hosting a Dashboard "Crash Course", live-building out some demonstrations, and taking ideas/suggestions on what to build from viewers. You can sign up here: Dashboard Crash Course • FlowFuse
