Quick background: I use a virtualized pedalboard for my bass guitar called MODEP (MOD Devices Emulator for Raspberry Pi). The main interface is web based and is really designed to "build" a pedalboard, not operate one in a performance setting. Since node-red was installed on the image that includes MODEP I built a dashboard that allows the player to view the current pedalboard, select a different pedalboard, change "snapshots" and now I added a MIDI controller to the dashboard. The player can configure 7 controls that can be mapped to various controls/knobs on the virtual pedalboard. Being able to control MODE from the phone AND turn effects on/off is extremely helpful!
